What do you do in the Vertical Industry?
I am an actress
How did you come across Vertical Dramas?
I was looking for auditions on my city's acting Facebook page and found a post for a werewolf drama. I submitted to it and the rest is history!
What is your favourite project you have worked on so far?
I absolutely love being on set so it's hard to choose, but one I definitely have to mention is "Mr. Vampire Wants Me Everyday", it was my first lead and will always have a special place in my heart. My most recent release "Fight For Love" was also an absolute blast. I also have a few unreleased ones that I loved working on too!!
What is the craziest thing you have found yourself doing while working on a vertical?
Using a whip during an intimacy scene in "Mr. Vampire". It was especially crazy since it was also the first intimate scene I've ever filmed!
Any funny stories you can share with us?
In one of the scenes of "Fight For Love" Delaney feeds Caleb escargot, and they ended up getting real escargot on set. So I made sure to pick the biggest snails I possibly could during the scene
Who is your unsung hero? Someone in the industry who should get more credit?
All assistant directors! A big part of their job is to make sure everybody stays on schedule but also ensuring the end product will look amazing!
What do you wish more people knew about verticals?
Just the sheer amount of work everyone behind the camera does to make it all look and sound amazing! Verticals are filmed extremely fast paced, often in 5 days and everybody on set has to be in sync to put them together in that amount of time!
What developments would you like to see in the industry in the year ahead?
I would love to see some different genres! I think a horror/thriller vertical would be super cool to be in, and would attract different audiences!
What are you most proud of?
Being able to act as a career! It's been my dream ever since I was little.
Which vertical actor would you like to play you in the biopic of your life?
Nicole Mattox. She is so talented and gorgeous!
