How did you come across Vertical Dramas?
My friend was on set for one and they needed a day player that was okay with special effects (it was a werewolf vertical)
What is your favourite project you have worked on so far?
My favorite vertical was definitely Love in the Shadows
What is the craziest thing you have found yourself doing while working on a vertical?
Word search puzzles. Period
Any funny stories you can share with us?
While on set, I'm known for doing voices. Being a voice actor on the side, I can do many different voices, including my native tongue of heavy Italian New York. I happened to be doing this while the director walked over and then proceeded to ask me to do it for the series. It is forever unchanged as the wackiest thing I've done in a vertical.
Who is your unsung hero? Someone in the industry who should get more credit?
Gabe Armentano. A vertical actor, we met on the set of 99th Runaway Bride and filmed together until the end of All I Want for Christmas. Not only is he funny charming and unbelievably handsome, he has a massive heart, and is a good very dear friend of mine. He also is an amazing actor and deserves everything he has gotten and will get!
What do you wish more people knew about verticals?
Yes and I wish they were more respected. They're new in the industry, especially in these crazy times, I wish there was more sympathy. I wish they were given a chance and who knows, maybe in 2 years or even sooner we will take over the world ;)
What developments would you like to see in the industry in the year ahead?
I would love to see more of these professional attributes that are starting to take form today. Things like body positivity, multiple of coordinators, and overall message of these verticals to the young people who watch us.
What are you most proud of?
I have been nominated for Best Villain in a vertical for my role as Alex Wilson in My Ex Wife is a Superwoman. I am beyond honored and can't wait to see how things shake out!
Which vertical actor would you like to play you in the biopic of your life?
I imagine he'd have to be young to play me years from now, but probably Mason Thames.
