REVIEW

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I can't tell you how many times I have watched this. Why isn't there a DVD or buy-to-download option? The money I have spent resubscribing to rewatch this is concerning shall we say

One day when they teach classes about how to make the perfect vertical they should start with this gem from Turtle Media Production.

Everything. The first scene that grabs your attention, the speed of plot, the spice, the way every episode ends on a hook to keep you watching, the quality of the images, the music, the superb ending with the big bad reveal

Everyone is amazing

Sabrina Rault grabs you from her first scene, and it given some great lines. She won't be treated like a doll and doesn't want rescuing. This is a strong but calm female lead, we don't go down the sassy route which keeps her more real

Scott McQueen is given the best lines but you have to deliver and he does. Wow. My favourite thing is you can see him thinking when listening to Millie. He doesn't just deliver the lines, he reacts.

I love Nicholas Vincent, Callum Jean-Thomas, Tina Manousaakis and Jessia Kernjak in their roles. I can't tell you who the big bad is without spoiling it, but they are brilliant in the end scenes. One of the best breakdowns / loss of control

So many details I love, the photo of Sabrina Rault is beautiful, wondering who took that? Was it real life photographer @mcqueensnaps?

But mainly I just want to bow down to the Aussie production team behind this.

In England for far too many years we have only known Australia for Neighbours, Home & Away and perhaps Kath & Kim

This is a massive disservice as clearly there is an immense pool of talent down under, several different production companies who are consistently making many of the best verticals out there.

A bit gutted that we are lagging behind here in the UK. There are a few shoots of growth and interesting projects but nothing like the same level

You win!!!!!!

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:

The writer of this masterpiece is amazing, every line given to Damien is swoonworthy. Every line. Then the production team up the stakes by having Scott McQueen deliver them. I defy you not to swoon.

🦹🏼‍♂️ Top villain award:

Hunter is concerning. Sonja is a spectacular piece of work. But the real villain, I won’t spoil it for you but you don’t see it coming. And that actor/actress is superb.

😂 Comedy gold:

There isn’t comedy here and this is fine. But in a fab chance for verticals keep watching at the end for BTS fun.

🎺 Unsung hero:

This feels very shallow to write but I am slightly obsessed with Damien’s apartment.
