What do you do in the Vertical Industry?
I am an actress! :) But I also love taking BTS pictures and it's something I would like to start doing more of as a job.
How did you come across Vertical Dramas?
My ex-roomie Anna Kim is a producer & was looking for an actress asap so I went ahead and did it. I thought that was the only vertical I was ever going to to do back in August 2023. But here we are now :)
What is your favourite project you have worked on so far?
Ugh I've loved every single experience working on these cause I get to meet the most wonderful & talented people, but based on the story I would have to say "Arresting My Mafia Ex" which hasn't come out yet. Because I finally got to play a woman who doesn't need to be saved by a man, and we love a powerful woman.
What is the craziest thing you have found yourself doing while working on a vertical?
The moment I had to slap Jackson Tiller with a tamale on "Small Town Girl Finds Her Mr. Big Time" I really couldn't take it seriously haha. I think it's probably the most random thing I've gad to do.
Any funny stories you can share with us?
They're so many I can't even remember them but it's always so refreshing having co-stars that are as goofy as you and getting laugh attacks in the middle of a scene (sorry production).
Who is your unsung hero? Someone in the industry who should get more credit?
Definitely 1st & 2nd ADs, they always make sure we are ok, and have everything we need while making the set a safe space and answering all our questions. Same goes to Wardrobe & HMUAs they make goingvto set each morning enjoyable by having someone you can trust & confide in.
What do you wish more people knew about verticals?
The amount of time & energy every single person involved is putting into them. Also we are all laughing with you about how ridiculous some storylines can be... haha
What developments would you like to see in the industry in the year ahead?
Definitely would love more diversity in actors, as a fellow latina I'm always told I'm the first people have worked with which I think is crazy cause there is so many talented latinos out there. Also shoutout to my latino crew members, their is always someone I get to speak spanish with behind the scenes and I love that.
What are you most proud of?
Being able to find my way in a different country is definitely what I'm most proud of. Little me would be screaming if she knew my actual job is to play pretend in front of a camera.

⭐ I wanted to be a professional soccer player when I was 13.
